GUIDANCE FOR RE-STARTING FOOTBALL TRAINING AND ACTIVITIES DURING COVID-19

June 27, 2020

This is a news item to update you all on the advice and guidance the club has given all our managers and coaches with regards to returning to training.

As it stands there is no formal Omonia Youth FC training, but we are aware that there are teams who want to resume some form of training and it is because of this that we are issuing advice and guidance.

There are four links below which provide a risk assessment and three specific info-graphics advising and guiding a) Coaches b) Players and c) Parents what steps need to be taken to ensure a return to training is as safe as possible.

Coaches have been asked to share these with players and parents.

Please be aware that they are only a GUIDE and for use as ADVICE & GUIDANCE.

As far as possible, the guides are to be used to enforce the measures to keep coaches, players and parents as safe as possible under the current circumstances and restrictions.

The information contained in the documents is of course subject to change, based on government and County FA advice.

Below is also a link to the current FA guidance for grassroots football.

The club wishes to thank Neil Antrobus from Remyca FC for designing and putting together the infographics. A donation was made to a local grassroots youth football club.
