Match Reports
U11 Platinum- Determination and Teamwork
Coaches- Simian & Dee- in partnership with the Transition Football Academy (TFA)
A fantastic performance away at Ware FC, with the boys showing incredible energy, fight and togetherness from the first whistle to the last! The hard work in training is clearly paying off, with Fin’s goal highlighting the attacking patterns we’ve been working on and the defensive unit showing real progress in its shape and organisation.
The boys trusted their technical ability and played some excellent football. With so many positives to take, we’ll keep working on our finishing and build on this performance next week. A special mention to Aless, who was absolutely outstanding in goal! The whole team should be proud of their efforts. Wishing Nikko a speedy recovery!
U10 White– Hat-Trick Heroics
Coaches: Chris J, Zac & Chris C
The boys started well to take the lead thanks to a great goal by Bazil. The opposition fought back to level up the score, but our team kept the pressure on and kept fighting. Most notably, the great communication between the boys and seemingly improved fitness levels kept us fighting to the end enabling Robert’s hat-trick and showing that the team are becoming a solid unit!
U12 Silver- Battling Back
Score: 1-1 | POTM: Ledio & Louis | Coaches: Angelo & Pete
Goal Scorer: Egor
A sunny day with perfect playing conditions saw the Silvers take on the league leaders in a high-intensity, physical battle. Both teams fought hard for possession, with few clear chances and the first half ending 0-0.
The visitors started the second half strongly, and despite Omonia soaking up the pressure, finishing put them ahead. The Omonia boys dug deep, battled back and were rewarded when a beautiful through ball sent Egor through on goal to finish superbly and make it 1-1. Both teams pushed on cautiously, but neither could find a winner. A hard-fought 1-1 draw and a fantastic display of grassroots football!
U12 Green– A Perfect Team Performance
Win: 3-0 | PoTM: Aaron | Coaches: Neil, Alvin & Parm
A perfect autumn day at Winchmore Hill saw the boys deliver a fantastic performance, combining slick one- and two-touch passing with relentless pressing when out of possession. The boys dominated the first half, creating several chances and hitting the post.
They came out flying in the second half, with Aaron smashing home a stunning opener into the top corner. Harry added a superb second after excellent link-up play, before Dylan completed the scoring with a brilliant volley from a corner. A deserved 3-0 victory, fantastic football from start to finish and the fourth clean sheet in a row!
U13 Gold – Character & Commitment
PoTM: Luca & Savva | Coaches: Cos & Sophia
An encouraging step forward for the boys against strong opposition. They showed improved intensity, pressing, determination and togetherness, competing hard and fighting for each other throughout.
Luca made some sensational saves to keep us in the game, while Savva worked tirelessly, battling for every ball and winning possession back. Both were outstanding! There’s still work to do, but the potential is clear. The focus now is to build on these positives and maintain them for longer. Great effort, boys!
U9 Silver– Goals & Smiles
PoTM: Isaac | Coach: Conor
Goal Scorers: Isaac & Jack
Plenty of goals scored from both sides made for a very entertaining match. I asked the boys to do 2 things before the start of the match for me – give 100% effort and have lots of fun! They certainly did both with every player having their own individual best performances of the season.
It was great to hear the boys finding their voices in the game today, which is something we have been working on in training. They are growing in confidence each week and building such nice relationships.
U12 Girls – Never Giving Up
Score: 1-1 | PoTM: Sienna | Coaches: Theo & Katie
The girls came out fighting in the second half, with Alexia hitting the bar, Evie striking the post and their keeper making several great saves. Ellie eventually finished a brilliant passing move to make it 1–1, before new signing Siyana scored her first goal for the team in the dying seconds!
The whole squad showed tremendous determination, teamwork and belief. Sienna impressed alongside Shenay in defence, showing composure and tenacity while creating chances with excellent through balls and dangerous corners. A fantastic team performance and a brilliant result! Well done, girls — we couldn’t be prouder!
U10 Silver– Fighting to the End
PoTM: Oliver | Coach: Richard
The Silvers started brightly, taking a deserved lead when Oliver smashed home a fantastic goal. Despite a challenging second half playing up the slope, the boys kept battling, and Kimon’s hard work was rewarded with an excellent finish to get us back in the game. Norwood added another well-taken goal to seal the result, but there were still plenty of positives to take away.
The boys showed good moments of quality and determination. We’ll take the lessons from today, keep working hard in training and look forward to building on the progress we’ve already made.
U11 Silver- A Spirited Fightback
PoTM: Leo | Coach: James
The boys put in a strong performance, showing determination, good communication and teamwork throughout. George made some fantastic saves, and the team continued to play their football and support each other.
After conceding in the second half, the boys showed real character, scoring twice in the final five minutes to create an exciting finish. It was great to see the improved communication and teamwork from training coming through on the pitch. A really encouraging performance with plenty of positives to build on. Well done to Leo, George and all the boys!
U16 Pan Disability– Debuts & Team Spirit
Coach: Mary
A big thank you to young Matthew and his dad for taking charge of the team today, and to the Brentford FCST staff for keeping an eye out. A great team effort from everyone, with excellent debuts from Elodie and Zachariah. The boys worked hard to press the opposition in both games, with some fantastic link-up play between Sam and Ibby creating chances, particularly in the second match.
They secured the win in the second game thanks to an own goal and a brilliant finish from Joseph. Lots of positives to take away, and really proud of the whole team!
U16 White– First Win, Five-Goal Statement!
Win: 5-2 | Coaches: Mark H, Pav C & George A
The Whites secured their first league win with a hard-fought 5–2 victory! Alex X scored a stunning free kick before doubling the lead, and Yahya made it 3–2 at half-time with a brilliant finish assisted by Luke.
A much-improved second-half performance saw Chris score from an Alex P assist before Alex X completed his superb hattrick, assisted by Abel. The boys showed great teamwork, determination and improved passing, while the defence stood strong and Fergus made crucial saves in goal.
A fantastic team effort, plenty of positives and three well-deserved points!
