Club launch ‘Kick it Out’ campaign

March 31, 2018

Head of Development Chris Mousicos has been working very closely with the ‘Kick it Out’ organisation to ensure that our young footballers are aware of important social issues and taking responsibility.

‘Kick It Out’ is football’s equality and inclusion organisation which works throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and campaign for positive change

As are a club we are against racism and discrimination of any kind and we strongly believe in inclusion, tolerance and equality. This is why every one of our footballers will have a talk about these issues and every one of our footballers will be given a ‘Kick it Out’ wristband to wear.

To further stress the importance of this campaign, next season, on all our football shirts, we will have the ‘Kick it Out’ logo on the shoulder.

As a club we have a social conscious and we are fully aware of this responsibility and as well as producing young footballers with talent, we strive to teach all our young footballers the correct moral and social values that will ensure when our young people leave Omonia Youth FC they can make a positive contribution to the local and wider community.
